...Elysium forced us to slow down and at times, stop altogether!  It was quickly hard to resist time at the house appreciating the landscape.  We will cherish the silent afternoons reading and watching the weather roll in.  For the first time on our trip we feel deep rest.  Thank you!

We've enjoyed the mesmerising changes in the outlook as the light moved across the land and water!  We were also wonderfully entertained by the little lambs and their mums!  Their gentle movements across the landscape enhanced the sense of peace and groundedness..  Elysium lives up to its name - what a special place you've built in this gem of a corner of Skye.  We've appreciated the detials provided and have been comfortable here.

The landscape is so beautiful and constantly changing.  We have been blessed with sun every day!  The house is fabulous, so warm and welcoming that it's hard to leave it!  We haven't ventured far, but have enjoyed the lovely walks.  Although we don't usually return to the same place, we would love to come back!

We've had an amazing stay, we absolutely love finding new places to visit for that period after Xmas & New Year and this has been an absolute gem.

You've made this place so homely, with pretty much everything you could ever need!  Everyone mentions it, but the ever-changing views are incredible, so many breath taking walks with the most stunning scenery.

We made mornings for big walks, afternoons for reading and staring at the views, and we made use of the projector in the evenings, which is a brilliant addition.  Thanks for having us!

Words cannot describe this beautiful place, it is one that is better described with your own eyes. To say it is magical would be an understatement. We arrived at night, the day after our elopement ceremony, tired and a little stressed from our past few days. However, when we woke the next morning to the amazing view, all of that went away. We could finally find some peace and simply be present. Thank you for sharing this space with us for our honeymoon. We will never forget it.

An outstanding cottage and location. As described by Maggie with lots of helpful information beforehand. The standard inside the cottage is exceptional and the views of the sea and sky so mesmerising we found it very difficult to leave. A very special place and well worth a visit.

I cannot say enough positive things - the house is lovely with amazing scenery, which is visible from the entire house. It is very private, clean, has all the amenities, and Maggie provides a wonderful app with all THE information you could want for visiting, navigating and enjoying Skye as well as everything you need to navigate to the house and use/enjoy it. I consulted this app multiple times a day as it includes links for weather, tides, restaurants, hikes, etc. Maggie is a lovely, communicative, and responsive host. I can’t recommend her home enough.
